At the start of the 1997-98 Italian Serie A season in Italy Inter Milan recently purchased Brazilian superstar Ronaldo for a new record fee of $48 million dollars and although they finished 2nd behind Juventus they still had the firing power up front to cause a threat to the title of Juventus in next seaon's Serie A. More news in Italy is that Fiorentina have signed another Brazilian star Edmundo for a fee of around $20 million and although they didn't make the Champions league they will be back next seaon to do it again. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Well i have continued at my first club Modbury Vista and at the moment we are going quite well with 5 wins out of games and we are now sitting 3rd on the table in division 4 and are now only 1 point of top position. If you have typed the words Modbury Vista as a search you would get North East Uniteds web page which unfortunetly the player who invented the page did not mention the score it was 7-1 which was a great victory for Modbury Vista and a call to all teams in Div 4 that Modbury Vista will not be a push over in 1998!!!!!!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||
